Metal prep, welding

Last night I prepared the remaining metal patches. Formed, sanded, cleaned twice, dried, and then coated with POR-15. I forgot to spray with metal ready, which sucks cause I just blew $100 on an order of it only to forget to use it. However, checking today the POR-15 did seem to stick so I guess it's ok. I only did one side, as the other side will be coated once the pieces are welded in place.

Went home on lunch today and welded in 4 pieces. Definitely getting better at this. I wish my metal fabrication skills were better, but at least no one will see the final work as it's all floors. Welds are starting to look better.
