Got my camera back. I've been prepping and welding in patches. By prepping I mean cleaning, applying Metal Ready, and then painting with POR-15 on one side. The reason being is that I am doing overlap welds so this way I can minimize the exposed metal between the layers of metal. I hope it's worth it.
